1 c. flour
¾ c. sugar
2 t. baking powder
¼ t. salt
2 T cocoa
½ c. milk
2 T vegetable oil
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)
1 c. brown sugar, packed
¼ c. cocoa
1¾ c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together the first six ingredients in a bowl. Stir in the vegetable oil and chopped nuts. Spread in a square (9" x 9" x 2"). Blend together the brown sugar and remaining cocoa in a small bowl. Sprinkle this mixture over top of batter. Pour hot water over all. Bake at 350 ºF for 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold with milk or ice cream.
