8 Milky Way« bars

1 cups butter

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

2 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1 1/4 cups buttermilk

1 cups nuts


Frosting

2 (2.10-oz.) Milky Way candy bars

1/2 cups butter

2 cups confectioners' sugar

2 tsp vanilla

Cake

-Melt candy and 1/2 cup butter. Set aside
-Cream sugar and the remaining 1 stick butter
-Add eggs
-Add flour and baking soda alternately with buttermilk
-Add candy mixture
-Bake in a tube pan at 325║F for 70 minutes

Frosting

-Melt candy bars and butter in double boiler
-Remove from heat
-Stir in confectioners' sugar and vanilla
-Add enough buttermilk to make it spreadable
-Frost cooled cake.
