Ingredients:  
1 stick margarine or butter
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups fruit

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 13x9 baking dish.
Combine flour, 1 cup sugar, and milk. Pour over melted butter. DO NOT STIR.
Mix 1/2 cup sugar with fruit (blackberries, strawberries, apples, cherries, peaches - may be canned, frozen or fresh)
Place fruit on top of batter. DO NOT STIR.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. About 30 minutes before removing from oven, sprinkle sugar on top.
