½ cube butter
½ cup broken up vermicelli
Melt butter and brown in pot, stirring constantly
Add:
1 cup long grain Uncle Ben’s rice and mix
2 ½ cups of chicken broth
1 – 2 t salt - broth will taste salty, but salt flavor dies down when cooked.

Bring to a boil.

Cover and lower heat to the lowest possible and allow to cook for 20 minutes or you can turn off the heat, over and allow to cook for 40 minutes.
