2 cups lightly packed fresh basil leaves
3 Tablespoons pine nuts
3 cloves garlic
cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
5 Tablespoons olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Puree the basil, pine nuts, and garlic in a food processor or blender.
2. Mix in the cheese.
3. With the machine running, gradually add the oil through the feed tube.

Can be prepared 1 week ahead. Transfer it to a jar and cover the top with a thin film of olive oil. Seal the jar and refrigerate. Freezes well. Makes about 1 cup.
