Ingredients: Burgers: 1 ¼ pound ground turkey ½ cup bread crumbs 3 green onions, white and light green parts only, minced 1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh basil 2 tbsp. fresh lime juice 1 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tsp. minced garlic ¼ tsp. chili powder ¼ tsp. kosher salt ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
Relish: 1 ½ cups coarsely grated seedless cucumber 2 tbsp. sour cream 1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh dill 1 tsp. minced jalapeno ½ tsp. minced garlic ¼ tsp. kosher salt 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper

Directions:1. To prepare burgers: in a large bowl, mix the burger ingredients. Lightly wet your hands and shape the mixture into four equal size patties. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to grill. 2. To make the relish: put cucumber in a fine sieve and squeeze out the excess moisture. In a medium bowl, mix the cucumber with the remaining relish ingredients. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. 3. Generously brush burgers with olive oil on both sides. Grill over medium heat until just cooked through, 7 minutes or so, turning once. Serve burgers warm with the relish spooned over the top. |
