Apples to fill pie tin - peeled & sliced
1 c. sugar (for green/sour apples) OR ¼ c. brown sugar (for other apples)
1 tbsp. flour
¼ tsp. nutmeg
½ tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter (optional)
Pie Crust (See "Grandma's Pie Crust"- Liz Adams or use store bought)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together (except butter).
2. Place in bottom pie crust (in pie tin)
3. Place thinly sliced pieces of butter on top of apple mixture
4. Place top pie crust over apples
5. Pinch crusts together and cut 5 slits in top of crust

Bake 350º for 1 hour or until mixture is bubbling over
