1Tbsp. butter
2 Tbs. green onions chopped
1 pod garlic
2 Tbsp. flour
2 cups oyster liqueur
1 cup water
1 Tbsp. parsley chopped
1 1/2 dozen oysters
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup chopped celery

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter in a large skillet. Sauté onions, garlic and celery until soft. Add flour and cook until smooth and thick. Add oyster liquid and water while stirring. Season to taste. Add parsley and oysters about 10 minutes before serving.

Another Lent staple when I was growing up. One of the few Oyster Soup recipes that does not have milk. But when you add the oyster liqueur, it gets milky colored. Really good. One of my favorite things to eat!
