2 qts chicken broth
1 celery stalk, chopped
˝ lb ground beef
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp horseradish
1 carrot, chopped
1 small onion, minced
1 c pasta
1 tsp parsley, chopped
1 tsp Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
Seasoned bread crumbs
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Pour chicken stock into stock pot. Add carrots, celery and onion. Simmer 1 hour.

Mix ground beef, garlic, parsley, egg, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and horseradish. Make very small meatballs. Brown in sauté pan.

Add pasta to broth. Cook for 10 minutes. Add meatballs.

Note: Pasta that is used is the little stars, known as pastina or marina vosa. If it is not in the pasta aisle at the store, then look in aisle that has baby food. Also Italian specialty food stores usually carry it as well.
