1 # mild bulk pork sausage, browned and drained
2 [15 oz] cans tomato sauce, Italian
1 [6 oz] can tomato paste
1/4 cup water
1/2 T light brown sugar
1 [15 oz] Ricotta cheese
3 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 egg
1 tsp parsley flakes
12 manicotta noodles, cooked, rinsed, drained

Directions:
Directions:
Stir tomato sauce, tomato paste, water and brown sugar into 1/2 sausage. Simmer 15 minutes.
Combine ramaining sausage, ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, egg and parsley.
In 13x9x2 pan, pour 1/3 sausage sauce mixture.
Stuff noodles with ricotta mixture, place on top of sauce.
Pour remaining sauce over noodles.
Top with remaining mozzarella and sprinkle with parmesan.
Bake, uncovered, at 350º for 20 minutes.
