6 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 leek, cut up
1 carrot, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups chicken stock (broth)
1 head broccoli, cut up
1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
Pinch cayenne pepper
Pinch celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter; cook carrot, leek, and garlic for 5 minutes. Add chicken stock; simmer. Add broccoli; simmer 8 minutes. Blend mixture in food processer or blender. Add cream, celery seed and cayenne pepper.
