1 C flour
½ salt
¾ C. sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 ½ TBS cocoa
½ C. milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 TBS melted butter

½ C. sugar
¼ C. brown sugar
5 TBS cocoa
1 C. water – almost boiling hot

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl, mix first 5 dry ingredients. Add milk, vanilla & melted butter. Mix until incorporated. Spread into 9 x 9 pan. Mix remaining sugars, cocoa and hot water. Pour watery mixture over batter. Bake for 35 minutes.

The watery mixture becomes a creamy hot fudge sauce. Serve cake warm with vanilla ice cream.
