Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
2 pounds beef stew (do not brown), cut in bite size pieces
1 bag baby carrots (cut or sliced)
1 ½ cup celery (cut up)
3 onions (small), cut in quarters
1 TB sugar
1 TB salt
pepper to taste
2 TB tapioca (or corn starch)
1 large can tomatoes, do not drain

I also add some potatoes, cubed (Debi)

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a casserole or roaster. Cover tightly and bake in 250º oven for 5 hours. DO NOT PEEK while cooking. It will be brown and juicy after 5 hours.
