1 Lb Ground Beef
3/4 tsp Salt
1 1/2 Lb. Apples - peeled & chopped( about 3 Apples)
1/3 C.Butter softened
3/4 C apple cider
1 T. Mace
1/2 T Nutmeg
1/2T.Cinnamon
1/2 C. Raisins
1/2 C. Currents
3 T.Candied Citron pieces(optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the meat in a saucepan over medium heat & add salt in with the meat.
In a large bowl combine chopped apples, softened butter, cider, spices & friut. Add the beef & apple Cider & mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Line a 9" pie pan with pie crust unbaked & pour the mincemeat filling inside. top with another pie crust, pinch to seal. cut slits on top to let out steam.
Bake in a 400 degree oven
45 Min. or until light brown
