2 packages dry yeast
2 - 4 Tbls sugar
1 cup lukewarm water
6 cups unbleached flour + 2 cups more
4 Tbls cooking oil
2 tsp salt
2 large cans evaporated milk
5 - One pound Coffee Cans with Lids

Directions:

Grease cans and lids well - set aside

Combine yeast and sugar with 1 cup lukewarm water.
Measure 6 cups flour into a bowl.
In large bowl, combine 4 Tbls sugar, 4 Tbls cooking oil, 2 tsp salt and evaporated milk.

Combine yeast mixture with milk, sugar, oil and salt. Mix Well
Add 1 cup of pre-measured flour to mix. Begin mixing thoroughly at medium speed.
Continue mixing and add remaining 5 cups flour.
Remove beaters. With wooden spoon, mix in 2 more cups of flour.

Fill each coffee can about ½ full with dough. Put the cap on the cans.
Set aside to rise. When dough reaches top of cans, remove the tops.

Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Let cool 10 minutes before removing from coffee cans.
