3 c (12 oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
1 lb Italian sausage
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1/4 c minced fresh basil or 1 T dried
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp garlic powder
3 c cubed French bread
6 eggs
1 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 c grated Parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
in a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients. Stir in bread. Transfer to a greased 13 x 9 baking dish. In the same bowl, whisk eggs, cream, salt and pepper; pour over bread mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake at 350 deg for 45-50 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
