Stew:
2 lb. of roast in cubes
2 c. diced potatoes
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. diced celery
1 c. chopped onion
½ green pepper chopped (optional)
Sauce:
¾ c. ketchup
¼ c. water
2 tbs. tapioca
1 tbs. worcestershire sauce
1 tbs. sugar
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
½ tsp. meat tenderizer

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place meat and vegetables in a dutch oven.
2. Mix in last eight ingredients, ketchup, water, tapioca, worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, pepper, meat tenderizer, and let stand for 10 minutes.
3. Pour sauce over meat and vegetables, cover and bake at 250º degrees for 5 hours.
4. Stir occasionally, often after 2 ½ hours
