3 tbsp butter
½ onion (chopped)
½ lb mushrooms (sliced)
Garlic powder to taste
⅔ lb raw shrimp (shelled & deveined)
3 - 4 green onions (chopped) or 2 tbsp fresh chives
4 - 6 tbsp butter or margariiine
Dash of salt
½ c. white wine
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic (chopped)
2 tbsp minced parsley

Pat shrimp dry on paper towel

Melt 3 tbsp butter in frying pan. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic powder and saute until tender. Set aside.

In large frying pan, melt additional butter over medium heat. Stir in salt, garlic, lemon juice, green onions, wine and oil. Cook until bubbly.

Add shrimp - Cook for approximately 5 minutes (until pink). Blend in parsley, stirring to mix well.

Add mushroom mixture to shrimp just before serving.

Serve with lemon wedges and parsley sprigs.

If desired: Add kitchen bouquet and cream of mushroom soup as well as a few shakes of pepper flakes for a different taste.
