2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
2 eggs
2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

Directions:
Directions:
• Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Set aside. Beat granulated sugar and butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture on low speed until well mixed.
• Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in confectioners’ sugar to completely coat. Place 2 inches apart onto greased baking sheets.
• Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned and slightly cracked on top. Cool on baking sheets 1 minute. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

FLAVOR VARIATIONS:
Rum Crinkle Cookies: Use 2 teaspoons McCormick® Rum Extract in place of the vanilla.
Coconut Crinkle Cookies: Use 2 teaspoons McCormick® Coconut Extract in place of the vanilla.
Maple Crinkle Cookies: Use 2 teaspoons McCormick® Maple Extract in place of the vanilla.
Orange Crinkle Cookies: Use 2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Orange Extract in place of the vanilla. Add 1/2 teaspoon Sunflower color and 1/8 teaspoon Berry
color from McCormick® Color from Nature™ Assorted Food Colors when beating the sugar and butter.
Lemon Crinkle Cookies: Use 2 teaspoons McCormick® Pure Lemon Extract in place of the vanilla. Add 1/2 teaspoon Sunflower color from McCormick® Color from Nature™ Assorted Food Colors when beating the sugar and butter.
Chocolate Crinkle Cookies: Add 3 T unsweetened cocoa
