2 cups sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
4 large eggs
6 ripe bananas, sliced
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans (or other nuts of choice)
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Mix in eggs, sliced bananas, flour nuts, baking soda and salt. Pour into two greased loaf pans.

Bake at 300º for 1 1/2 hours or until middle is done.

NOTE: DO NOT preheat oven! This bread is out into a cold oven, then set to 300º.
