Ingredients: 2 ten ounce boxes of frozen chopped broccoli 1 ten and three qt. ounce can of cream of mushroom soup 2 c of minute rice 1 stick of butter 1 fifteen ounce jar of cheese whiz

Directions: |
Directions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees. You will need two medium sauce pans, one large sauce pan and one 8" X 8" casserole dish. Unthaw broccoli before cooking.
Cook broccoli in a medium sauce pan then remove excess water. At the same time in another medium sauce pan bring to boil two cups of water then add two cups of minute rice. Next, heat cheese whiz, butter and cream of mushroom soup in a large sauce pan mixing thoroughly until butter and cheese has melted. Next add cooked rice to cheese mixture again mixing thoroughly. Next layer broccoli then cheese mixture into an 8" X 8" casserole dish evenly. The final layer should be the cheese mixture. Cover in aluminum foil then bake for twenty minutes. Remove foil and continue to bake for another twenty minutes. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes. |
