Desired herbs
Desired garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 3 parts white vinegar with 1 part water. Bring to a boil. Immediately pour over prepared filled jars of desired veggies, herbs, garlic, and 1 T. salt (1/2 T. salt for small jars). Fill leaving 1/2 inch between the veggies and the top of the lid. Place seal and ring and tighten. Place on counter and cover with dish towel to cool. When cool, further tighten the lid. Note - the flat seal should be firm and not "bounce" back when pushed. If it does, you didn't achieve a safe seal.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
For a sweet pickling you will need to add quite a bit of sugar to the vinegar/water mixture.
