1 cup sour cream
2 Tbsp lard
3 Tbsp sugar
1/8 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 large egg
1 cake yeast
3 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to boiling sour cream, remove from heat. Stir in until well blended, lard, sugar,soda,and salt. Cool to lukewarm, add egg and compressed yeast. Stir until yeast is dissolved, Mix in with a spoon the flour Knead a few seconds to form a smooth ball. Cover with damp cloth and let rest 5 minutes to tighten up. Roll dough 1/4 in thick in a rectangle 24x6 in. Spread entire surface with 2 Tbsp butter. Sprinkle half of dough the long way with mixture of 1/3 cup brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. Bring unsugared half of dough over sugared half, pressing top surface light to seal filling. Cut dough into 24 1inch strips with a shape knife. Give each strip a couple of good twists. Let rise. Bake 375 for 12-15 minutes
