1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon or more
1 unbeaten egg
5-6 cups of apples, peeled, and thinly sliced (approx 6-7 red apples)
1/3 cup butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Mix with egg until crumbly. Place sliced apples in a buttered 8-inch square pan, top with sugar mixture.

Drizzle with melted butter (or margarine) over the crumbs. Bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes. Serve warm . Can be topped with whipped cream or ice cream.

**Can double recipe in 9 x 13 pan.
