2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbls baking powder
2 tsp white sugar
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup chilled butter salted
2/3 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 415 degrees and line pan with parchment paper.

In a medium mixing bowl sift together flour, baking powder,sugar and cream of tartar, and salt.

Using a pastry blender, your hands or a knife and fork, cut the butter until the flour resembles coarse crumbs

Add the milk and stir with a fork until the mixture comes together. On a lightly floured surface pull out the dough and knead until its smooth.

Roll out the dough until it's 1/2 inch thick. Cut out dough with a three inch biscuit cutter or you can cut into squares. With remaining dough reform and roll out. Cut

Arrange biscuit dough on prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 min. Or until risen and golden brown.

Serve immediately.
