2- Sticks of Butter
6 - Tablespoon of Light Corn Syrup
2 - Cups of Brown Sugar
1 - Loaf of French or Italian Bread (unsliced)
5 - Eggs
1½ - Cups of Milk
2 - Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
½ - Teaspoon of Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine the corn syrup, butter and brown sugar in a small sauce pan and simmer until syrupy
2. Add cinnamon if desired
3. Pour contents into a 9 x 13 casserole dish
4. Slice bread into 1 inch thick slices
5. Lay slices on top of the syrup in the casserole dish
6. In a separate bowel, beat the eggs and then add the milk and vanilla
7. Pour mixture over the bread
8. Sprinkle cinnamon on top to taste
9. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight
10. In the morning, bake at 350º for 45 minutes or until the bread has baked to a golden brown and the syrup is bubbling
11. Let sit about 15 minutes before serving
