1 pound lean ground beef
½ cup onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (28 oz to 32 oz) jar spaghetti sauce (3½ cups)
¾ cup water
1 (8 oz) package wide lasagna noodles
2 cups (1 pound) ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
3 cups (12 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º. In a large skillet, brown ground beef, onion and garlic; drain. Return beef mixture to skillet; stir in spaghetti sauce and water. In small bowl, combine ricotta (or cottage cheese), Parmesan and parsley; set aside. In 13X9-inch glass baking dish, layer one third of sauce mixture, half of uncooked lasagna noodles, half of ricotta mixture and half of mozzarella cheese; repeat layers, ending with sauce mixture. Cover tightly with foil and bake 1 hour. Uncover, sprinkle with remain Parmesan cheese. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
