1 yellow cake mix
1 egg
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cups white karo syrup (lite corn syrup)
3 eggs
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 to 2 cups chopped pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix, 1 egg and butter well. Reserve 2/3 cup of the batter. Spread remaining batter into a greased and floured 9x13 pan an bake at 325º for 15 minutes.
Mix reserve batter, 3 eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and pecans. Pour over crust and bake 50-60 minutes at 325º
