2 tbsp butter
1 chopped onion
2 chopped celery stalks
3 tbsp flour
2 cups water
2 tsp lawny's seasoned salt
2 10 oz cans clams in juice
2 diced potatoes
1 can evaporated milk (or 1 cup heavy cream)
2 bay leaves
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion and celery in butter until soft. Stir in flour and cook until slightly browned. Add water, seasoned salt, juice only from clams, potatoes, milk, and bay leaves. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Add clams, and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer another 5 minutes to heat clams thoroughly. Remove bay leaves before serving.
