Crust:
4- cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1- cups shortening (Crisco)
3 egg yolks
2- tablespoons lemon juice
11 tablespoons water

Filling:
4 pounds of granny smith apples
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup sugar
1- teaspoon cinnamon
teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the flour, add salt, cut in the shortening. Beat the the egg yolks slightly and add it to the lemon juice and water. Add that to dough. Stir until the dough is formed.

Mix together the filling ingredients.

Roll our half of the dough and place it in a 7 x 15 inch pan. Pour the apples on top.
Roll out the top crust and place it on top sealing the edges with a fork.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Let it cool. Then glaze it with powdered sugar and water by drizzling it on Wow this stuff is the bomb!!!
