1 CUP SUGAR
1 CUP WHITE CORN SYRUP
1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
6 CUPS SPECIAL K
1 CUP CHOCOLATE CHIPS
1 CUP BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS

Directions:
Directions:
MEASURE CEREAL INTO LARGE MIXING BOWL. COMBINE SUGAR AND SYRUP IN MEDIUM SAUCEPAN. BRING TO BOIL. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND ADD PEANUT BUTTER. MIX WELL. POUR OVER CEREAL AND MIX WELL. TRANSFER TO BUTTERED 8X8" BAKING PAN. IN DOUBLE BOILER OR MICROWAVE, MELT CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND BUTTERSCOTCH CHIPS TOGETHER. SPREAD ON TOP OF CANDY. COOL AND CUT INTO SQUARES.

When I was a kid, I loved to read recipes, especially on packages, like cereal boxes. Mom was always up for an experiment. She would faithfully buy the ingredients for me and my family would be my guinea pigs!! Good thing I had a good teacher!!
