2 lbs frozen hashbrowns or grated potatoes
1/2 cup melted butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cups grated sharp cheddar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups crushed cornflakes or breadcrumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Defrost frozen hash browns, if using. Mix with 1/2 cup butter, soup, sour cream ,onion, cheese, salt and pepper. Put in 3 quart casserole dish. Saute cornflakes/breadcrumbs in 1/4 cup butter. Sprinkle on top. Cover and bake for about 40 minutes.
