1 1/3 c. margarine
1 1/3 c. powder sugar
1 1/3 c. molasses
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
pinch salt
1 c. chopped nuts, optional
1/2 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margaring and sugar until fluffy. Mix in molasses and vanilla. Add eggw. Ad flour mixed with soda. Mix well. Add nus if desired . Spread batter in a well greased full size cookie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 miutes. Sprinkle top with white sugar approximately 5 minutes before removing from oven. Allow to cool and cut into bars or squares.
