Start-to-finish: 30 minutes. Serves 4-6 as a side dish.

1 head broccoli

6-8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled

½ cup red onion, chopped

½ cup raisins or dried cranberries

8-ounce package shredded sharp cheddar cheese

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons white vinegar

¼ cup sugar

Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
Wash broccoli, trim leaves, remove and discard large stem. Chop broccoli head into bite-sized pieces. Place broccoli, bacon, onion, raisins or cranberries, cheese and tomatoes in a bowl. For dressing, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and black pepper. Add dressing to vegetables and toss.
