1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp sugar
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp fresh ginger root or 1 tsp dried ginger

Directions:
1. Pat steak dry and very lightly score beef about 3 mm deep in diagonal slashes.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in heavy-duty plastic bag with the steak. Seal. Marinate in refrigerator, turning two times, for 3 hours or overnight.
3. Remove meat from marinade and broil or grill for 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. This time would give you a medium steak.
4. Allow steak to rest for 5 minutes then slice thinly diagonally. Can be served hot or cold.

Delicious!
