1 pint of strawberries
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cut of tops of strawberries, cut in half. Place cut berries into saucepan. Sprinkle sugar on top of berries and vanilla extract. Turn heat on medium, let sugar melt and syrup start to develop. Let simmer for about ten minutes, stirring occasionally. Mush gently to desired consistency OR take half the berries and blend down then add to original pan. Let cool, serve over cheesecake or serve warm over french toast.
