1 cup sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1 cup water
1 - 21oz. can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
1 cup flour
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
4 cup rhubarb (chopped)
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan stir together sugar and cornstarch. Stir in water. Cook until thickened, stir for 1 minute. Stir in cherry pie filling and 1 tsp. almond extract, set aside. In a large bowl mix together flour, oatmeal and brown sugar. Cut in butter until it crumbles. Press mixture into 13x9" pan. Spoon rhubarb over crust. Spread with cherry mixture. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes.
