Dissolve:

1 pkg or 1 tbsp dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup lukewarm water

Let stand 10 minutes - stir well.

Put in bowl:

3 1/2 cups lukewarm water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup melted lard or vegetable oil
1 tsp salt

Directions:

Add yeast to mixture and 1 tbsp vinegar. Put 9 - 10 cups of flour into mixture 1 cup at a time until dough is not sticky. Let rise 2 hours. Knead and let rise 1 hour. Mould into small buns and put in lightly greased pans/cookie sheets. Let rise 3 hours.

Bake in a quick 450°F oven for approximately 15 minutes.

Butter tops when removed from oven.
