5 cans whole green beans, drained and rinsed well

1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp each of salt, pepper,arlic powder

1 stick (I/s cup) butter

Directions:
Directions:
Spread green beans evenly in a 9x13 casserole


In a bowl, mix the brown sugar and seasonings
Sprinkle that evenly over the green beans (using fingers is easier to get it evenly)

Slice the stick of butter into 20 slices.
Place these over the casserole contents--- 4 across,5 down--

Cover tightly with foil.
Bake at 350º. for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. No less than 2 hours
