1 ice cream pail of Crab apples (cut up)
5 T. minute tapioca
2 c. sugar ( more or less depending on your taste)
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
(I've also added 2 T. lemon juice if I made it to sweet)
Directions:
Directions:
Add water to cover in sauce pan.Over medium heat bring to a boil & stirring often so it doesn't burn.

Reduce heat & simmer till apples are a desired texture.

Cool down to room temp.

Put 3 c. filling for one pie into a freezer bag.

This freezes well so you can make a pie later when you feel like it.
