4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. raisins
4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1 c. milk
1 tsp. carraway seeds, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together. Sprinkle a little over the raisins. Cut in butter with a pastry cutter. Add beaten eggs and milk and mix together. Turn onto floured board and mold into round loaf. Place on greased pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Be careful not to over-bake.
