Mom's Cranberry Salad Recipe

3 oz. box lemon jello
3 oz. box dark red jello (black cherry or cranberry)
8 oz. fresh cranberries
2 med. oranges
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped nuts (Mom uses walnuts)
1 lg. can crushed pineapple (do not drain)

Directions:
Directions:
1.) Dissolve jello with 2 cups boiling water then add 1 1/2 cups cold water. Put in frig to begin setting up.
2.) Cut ends off of oranges and quarter them. With grinder, grind cranberries and oranges, alternating the two. Mom uses 1 3/4 of the oranges. After grinding, stir in 1/4 cup sugar.
3.) Add celery and pineapple to cranberry/orange mixture.
4.) When jello has started to set, stir in fruit mixture.
5.) Stir in nuts last.
6.) Pour in a 9 x 13 pan. Refrigerate until set. (Mom makes this the day before so it can set up overnight.)

This is a family favorite! "The girls" looks forward to it every Thanksgiving! Mom doesn't have a recipe so this year, I wrote it down while we were making it!
