3 1/4 tsp yeast
½ c warm water
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
1 – 5 oz can evaporated milk
2 eggs lightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl dissolve yeast in water, add sugar, butter, milk, eggs, salt, 2 cups flour and beat until smooth. Add enough flour to form a soft dough. Turn on to floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic. About ten minutes. Place in greased bowl turn once to grease the top. Cover and let rise for 1 ½ hours. Punch dough down and divide into thirds. Rise 5 minutes. Roll out 1/2” thick, cut with cookie cutter. Place on cookie sheet and let rise ½ hour.

Bake at 375º 10-12 minutes.
