Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 ¾ cups All -Purpose Flour
1 ¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 ½ sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 ¼ cups packed dark brown sugar
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup rough chopped pecans, I toast mine before adding, careful not to burn!

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
2. Preheat oven to 350º. Beat butter and sugars with a mixer on medium high speed until pale and fluffy, about 4 minutes. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Add vanilla. Reduce speed to low. Slowly add flour mixture; beat until combined. Mix in chocolate chips and toasted pecans.
3. Chill dough for about 30 minutes or so. Use a scooper to drop dough onto parchment paper lined baking sheets or use a Silpat. Space about 2 inches apart. Bake until golden around edges, but soft in middle, about 11- 15 minutes....OR you may like them crispier! Let them cool for 5 minutes, if you can :) Transfer cookies to wire rack and let cool completely.
*Make Ahead - Dough can be refrigerated for up to 5 days, or pre-scoop and freeze to pull out and cook when you want a few.

Personal Notes:
Sometimes, you need some major gluten and sugar! I have tried A LOT of chocolate chip cookie recipes, this is my favorite because of the mix of dark brown and white sugars and I added the toasted pecans, you don't have to, but they are SO good with them! Enjoy!
