2 cups shelled butter beans, shelled
2 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 cup half and half cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the beans in a small amount of salted boiling water; cover and boil rapidly until beans are tender, about 20-30 minutes. Drain

In the same saucepan, melt the butter and add the beans, salt and pepper and parsley
Gradually add the stock to the flour and whisk till smooth. Add the mixture to the beans over low heat, Whwn the sauce has thickened slightly, add the cream. warm through and serve hot.
