1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
1/2 chopped onion
1 C red kidney beans
1 C pinto beans
1/2 C chopped green pepper
1-16 oz can of tomato sauce
1 C tomato soup
1 tsp of vingegar
2+ tablespoons of chili powder ( to taste)
1-16oz can whole tomatoes
dash of salt

Brown ground beef and onion, and drain. Combine beef and tomatoes in crock pot, add green pepper, tomato sauce, tomato soup, and tomatoes, vinegar, chili powder, beans and salt and simmer all day. ( low setting)

The first time I made this recipe was when Gordy was very little. When it was given to me the recipe did not say brown meat, so I threw everything into crockpot together. Needless to say a lesson was learned that day, as our chili had a nice layer of grease on the top! :>)
