1 LB COTTAGE CHEESE
16 OZ MOZZARELLA CHEESE
1 LB RICOTTA CHEESE
1 8 OZ PKG GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE

MEAT SAUCE:
1 LARGE ONION, CHOPPED
3 CLOVES GARLIC
2 LBS GROUND BEEF
32 OZ TOMATO SAUCE
1/4 TSP WHITE SUGAR
2 28 oz cans CRUSHED TOMATOES
2 CUPS WATER
3 tsp. SALT
2 tsp BASIL
1 tsp GROUNG PEPPER
3 BAY LEAVES
1 TSP DRIED OREGANO

SAUTE ONION,GARLIC, BEEF UNTIL ONION IS TENDER. ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS AND SIMMER "UNCOVERED"ABOUT 2 HOURS.
SPREAD 1/2-1 CUP MEAT SAUCE IN A GREASED 13X9X2 PAN,

1) NEXT LAYER NOODLES, COTTAGE CHEESE, MEAT SAUCE
2) NOODLES, RICOTTA CHEESE, MEAT SAUCE
3) NOODLES, MOZZARELLA CHEESE, MEAT SAUCE
4)PARMESAN CHEESE

BAKE AT 350º FOR 1 HOUR
