3/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup sherry or chicken broth
2-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh gingerroot
1-1/2 teaspoons minced garlic

Directions:
Directions:
For the sauce combine the pineapple juice, catsup, soy sauce and vinegar in a small pot over medium-low heat. Once it simmers whisk in the brown sugar and ginger. Continue to simmer 5 minutes until the sauce thickens. Remove from the heat and let stand (or prepare in advance) and refrigerate until ready to use. Reserve about a cup to serve Cook on a grill or in an oven as you would grill or roast a chicken. Squeeze the lemon juice over the chicken when you turn it. Baste the chicken with the sauce during the last 5 minutes of cooking. The internal temperature should be 165° F. Cut up chicken. Serve with the reserved sauce
