1 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
2 T. sugar
cup corn meal
2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 cup milk
⅓ cup oil
cup minced onion
6 hot dogs
1 T. prepared mustard
2 tsp salad oil

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together the flour, salt, sugar, corn meal and baking powder. Add the egg, milk, oil and minced onion stirring well. Pour in to a 12 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish. Cut 4 - " diagonal slashes in hot dogs and place cut side down in the batter. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Combine 2 tsp. oil and mustard and brush over top. Bake an additional 20 minutes. Cut into six servings.
