1/4 cup butter or oleo
1/4 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 squares melted chocolate
1-3/4 sifted flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º

Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add 1 egg and melted chocolate. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Alternate adding milk and flour mixture to shortening mixture. Add vanilla and nuts.

Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
